What Is B2B at Quivers?
“B2B” refers to the wholesale ordering channel that lets a brand’s authorized dealers and retailers place restocking orders directly through the Quivers platform. Instead of managing wholesale orders through spreadsheets, email, or third-party tools, dealers reorder inventory straight from their Quivers admin panel.
How It Works
- Brands create dedicated B2B storefronts (sales channels) within Quivers, configured with wholesale pricing instead of consumer pricing.
- Dealers log into their Quivers admin panel and reorder inventory directly from those storefronts.
- Brands can set up tiered wholesale pricing — for example, “Key” vs. “Authorized” dealer tiers — with each tier assigned its own storefront and price type.
- Multiple B2B storefronts can be made available to a single dealer at the same time.
Why It Matters
Brands use B2B to digitize and streamline their wholesale channel. It gives dealers a self-service portal to reorder, reduces manual sales ops work, and increases dealer reorder frequency.
How to Set Up B2B for Your Storefront
Complete the steps below in order. Reach out to support@quivers.com if you need help at any point.
Prerequisites
✓ Active Seller Account on Quivers — you must be logged in as a Seller (brand).
✓ A Wholesale Pricing Strategy — decide on your dealer tiers (e.g., “Key” vs. “Authorized”) and wholesale price points before you begin.
✓ A List of Authorized Dealers — have the retailers you want to give B2B access to on hand so you can connect with them in Step 7.
Step 1: Create a HoverCart Storefront
This storefront will serve as your B2B sales channel.
- Log into Quivers and click the “Sales Channels” tab on the left menu, then click “Storefronts.”
- Click the blue “Add Storefront” button in the upper right corner.
- Name your storefront and select “HoverCart” as the Storefront Type. HoverCart storefronts require a Template — create a new one or use an existing one.
- Choose a wholesale Price Type from the dropdown (see Step 4 to create your wholesale price types first, if you haven’t already).
- Choose a Settlement Account for wholesale checkout.
- Click “Create.” Then fill in your Merchant name and support contact details (website, email, phone) for dealer-facing communications.
- Under storefront settings, turn on “Enable Tax Exemption” — this is recommended for storefronts used for B2B commerce.
- Under “Warehouses,” assign at least one warehouse to this storefront (see Step 2).
Enable B2B Billing as a Payment Method
Credit card remains a standard payment option for B2B orders, processed the same way as any other Quivers Pay order. B2B Billing is an additional payment method for dealers who’d rather pay via invoice or net terms — a “pay later” option — instead of paying by card at checkout.
When a buyer selects B2B Billing at checkout, the order is placed immediately and no payment is collected at that time — your team invoices the buyer separately, outside of Quivers.
B2B Billing functions as an external-gateway payment method, but the checkout experience mirrors the classic “Bill Later” option: the buyer completes checkout without entering payment details. Unlike the original Bill Later option, B2B Billing is fully compatible with Quivers settlement processing — orders still flow through fulfillment normally, and your account is credited on your standard settlement schedule once the order ships.
✓ HoverCart enabled on your Quivers account.
✓ B2B Billing activated for your account by your Quivers Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Contact your Quivers CSM to have B2B Billing enabled — once activated, it will appear as an option in the Settlement Account dropdown for your B2B storefront(s).
Note: Enabling B2B Billing does not automatically set a specific transaction fee rate for your storefront. Reach out to your Quivers CSM or support@quivers.com to find out what your fee structure would be for B2B orders.
Step 2: Mark a Wholesale Warehouse
Every storefront — including a B2B storefront — needs at least one warehouse assigned to it. If your existing warehouse already carries any stock you’re willing to sell wholesale, you can simply flag that warehouse as a wholesale source. You only need to create a separate, dedicated warehouse if you want to carve out inventory that’s not available to retailers at wholesale.
- Click the settings gear icon in the top-right corner of your Quivers Panel and select “Warehouses.”
- If you’re marking your existing warehouse, click the pencil icon next to it to edit it. If you’re separating out wholesale-only stock, click the blue “Add Warehouse” button instead and fill in the Name, Default Stock Amount, and Minimum Stock Amount (leave Minimum Stock blank for unlimited availability), then enable Live Inventory so stock updates automatically as orders are placed, cancelled, or refunded.
- Toggle on “Is Wholesale Source” to mark this warehouse as available for wholesale/B2B fulfillment, distinguishing it from warehouses that only carry consumer-only stock.
- Save the warehouse, then go to Sales Channels > Storefronts, edit your B2B storefront, and toggle this warehouse on under the “Warehouses” section so it can pull inventory for wholesale orders.
Note: The “Is Wholesale Source” flag feeds your Missed Opportunity reports, so retailers aren’t shown as having “missed” a sale on products your brand never actually made available to them at wholesale.
Step 3: Upload Inventory
Add the inventory that will be available for dealers to order.
- Go to Catalog > Inventory in the left-hand menu.
- To bulk upload stock, prepare a CSV file with at least a “UPC” column and a “Stock” column, click the blue “Import” button in the upper right, select your file, and click “Upload.” Stay on the screen until the status bar confirms the upload is complete.
- To update individual products, search for the item by name, UPC, or SKU and adjust its stock level directly.
- Use the “Export” button any time to download your current stock levels for review or bulk edits.
Step 4: Set Price Types
Configure wholesale pricing — separate from your consumer pricing — including tiered pricing for different dealer levels (e.g., “Key” vs. “Authorized” dealers).
- Click the gear icon for “Settings” in the top-right corner of the Quivers Panel and select “Price Types.”
- Click the blue “Add Price Type” button.
- Give the price type a name (for example, a dealer tier name) and select a Currency, then click “Create.”
- Repeat for each dealer tier you want to support. Click the pencil icon next to a price type to edit it.
- Assign each price type to its own B2B storefront (from Step 1) so each dealer tier sees the correct wholesale pricing.
Step 5: Set Up Shipping
Configure shipping rules for wholesale orders placed through your B2B storefront(s).
- Click “Shipping” on the left-hand rail of your Quivers Panel.
- Click the blue “Add Policy” button, name your policy, and click “Create Policy.”
- Edit the policy: set the Policy Type (Standard, Expedited, or White Glove Delivery) and the Shipping Expectation (how many days until the order ships).
- Set the Currency (matching your storefront’s currency) and attach the policy to your B2B storefront(s) under “Storefronts.”
- Under “Regions,” create and assign the geographic regions this policy should apply to.
- Under “Items,” select all products or check off the specific products this policy should cover.
- Configure Shipping Fees — by quantity, order amount, or weight — to match your wholesale order volumes.
Step 6: Create a Seller Exclusive Claiming Policy
This keeps your wholesale product catalog exclusive to your brand rather than distributed to retailers for fulfillment.
- Expand the “Distribution” tab in the left menu and click “Claiming Policies.”
- Click the blue “+ Add New Policy” button, give it a name, and click “Add.”
- Click the pencil icon next to the new policy to edit it, and set the Policy Type to “Merchant Exclusive” so the selected products are only available to your brand.
- Under “Authorize by Catalog,” select the products this policy should cover.
- If you want this policy to apply only to your B2B storefront(s), toggle on “Restrict by Storefronts” and select the relevant storefront(s).
Step 7: Connect With Retailers and Turn On B2B Storefronts
Connect your authorized dealers and give them access to your B2B storefront(s).
- Click “Fulfillers” in the left menu. Search for a dealer by company name, browse the pre-populated list, import a list of existing dealers via “Import Fulfillers,” or invite a new dealer by email using “Invite Fulfiller.”
- Click the blue “+” next to a dealer’s name to send a connection request, or accept incoming requests under the “Wants to Connect” tab.
- Once connected, go to Fulfillers > My Fulfillers and click on the retailer you want to configure.
- On the connection detail page, find the “B2B Storefronts” section and click “Add Storefront.”
- Select a storefront from your existing B2B storefronts. Repeat to assign additional storefronts to the same dealer if needed.
- If you need to assign B2B storefronts across many dealers at once rather than one at a time, use the bulk edit feature under Fulfillers instead of updating each connection individually.
You’re all set! The dealer will automatically see their assigned B2B storefront(s) the next time they log into their Quivers admin panel — no action required on their end.
The Fulfiller Buying Experience
Once you’ve connected a dealer and assigned them a B2B storefront (Step 7), here’s what wholesale ordering looks like from their side — entirely within their own Quivers admin panel, with nothing extra for them to set up.
- A “Wholesale” menu item appears in the dealer’s own Quivers admin panel once they have a B2B storefront assigned to them.
- If the dealer is connected to more than one brand for B2B, they select which brand they want to buy from.
- That brand’s B2B storefront then opens as an embedded HoverCart directly inside the dealer’s panel — no separate website, login, or account required.
- The dealer places their wholesale order right there, signed in as themselves; they’re locked to that account for the duration of the purchase.
- Completed orders appear under the dealer’s own Account > My Orders tab in their panel.
- Wholesale orders placed this way aren’t eligible for self-service returns or refunds through that view.
Note: If a newly connected dealer doesn’t see the Wholesale menu item right away, have them log out and back in (or start a new browser session) to refresh their panel.
Note: Order history in the embedded storefront isn’t currently shared across users on the same dealer account — if one teammate places an order, a different teammate logging in separately won’t see it in their own view.
Coming Soon:
-
A more prominent “Purchase History” view for dealers — surfaced directly within B2B Purchasing instead of under My Account — is on our roadmap.
- A dedicated bulk-buying experience for B2B is in development — built around quickly finding and adding large quantities of variants to a wholesale order, rather than browsing the standard, marketing-first HoverCart.
-
Order notifications for B2B purchases currently go only to the person who placed the order. We’re planning to expand these so all retailer admins and sales reps associated with that retailer are notified too.
- Retailers currently have no notification when a brand adds a new B2B storefront for them to buy from — we’re planning to add one, along with a fix so newly assigned storefronts show up without needing to log out and back in.
B2B & Sales Reps
Sales reps can also help place wholesale orders on behalf of the retailers they support, directly from their own Sales Rep view in Apollo — no access to the retailer’s own panel required.
Connecting Sales Reps to Their Retailers
A sales rep only sees the retailers assigned to the same claiming region as them — this is what connects a rep to the B2B storefronts and orders for their specific dealers in the Sales Rep view.
- Create a claiming region for the rep’s territory: go to “Distribution” in the left menu and click “Claiming Regions,” then add a distinct, appropriately named region. The geographic region itself doesn’t affect anything — these are just labels used to group retailers into territories.
- Assign your retailers to that claiming region so they’re grouped under the correct rep’s territory.
- Add the sales rep as a user: click the gear icon for “Settings,” select “Business Settings & Users,” enter their details, and set their User Type to “Sales Representative.”
- Under “+Update Retailer Territory” on that user’s profile, associate the claiming region(s) covering their retailers.
Note: Sales reps can be associated with multiple claiming regions, and a single claiming region can have multiple sales reps assigned to it.
What Sales Reps See
- Sales reps have a “B2B” tab within their Sales Rep view, showing a table of every retailer associated with them.
- For each retailer, any B2B storefront(s) available to them are listed as clickable links — since a retailer can have more than one B2B storefront for the same brand.
- Selecting a storefront takes the sales rep directly into that storefront’s B2B purchasing experience for that retailer, using the same embedded HoverCart component dealers use.
- Sales reps don’t have a role within the retailer’s own panel — this view lets them place a wholesale order for that retailer without needing separate retailer-level access.
Coming Soon:
-
The ability for a sales rep to build a cart and share it with the retailer to complete the purchase themselves (rather than the rep placing the order directly) is planned but not yet supported — sharing a cart link doesn’t currently work correctly from within the embedded B2B storefront.
- A dedicated “Purchase History” view within the Sales Rep Dashboard — showing order-level detail on the wholesale orders placed by retailers in a rep’s region, alongside the existing B2B tab — is on our roadmap.
Reporting & Analytics
B2B activity feeds a dedicated “Sell-Through” reporting area, giving Sellers, Sales Reps, and Fulfillers visibility into wholesale performance — not just order history.
Where to Find It
- Sellers: Reports > Sell-Through.
- Fulfillers/Dealers: Reports > Sell-Through, scoped to their own wholesale activity.
- Sales Reps: Sell-Through is their default landing tab in the Sales Rep view, filterable by Retailer instead of Brand.
Key Reports
- Missed Opportunity Reports (Out of Stock / No Inventory): show the dollar value of orders a retailer missed because they were out of stock on an item, or didn’t carry it at all.
- Brand Wholesale Stock indicator: each missed-opportunity line also shows whether the brand’s wholesale warehouse had enough stock, on average, to cover that missed quantity — so it’s clear whether a miss was on the retailer (they should restock) or the brand (wholesale stock wasn’t available either). This shows up on the Seller, Sales Rep, and Fulfiller versions of the report alike.
- Local Demand By Brand: for a retailer, breaks down demand within 100 miles of their store by connected brand, along with the retailer’s own current stock position for each item — helping them see what’s selling locally that they aren’t stocked to sell.
- Retailers’ Market-Share By Sales / By Inventory (Sales Reps & Sellers): pie charts showing which retailers are driving the most wholesale sales, or carrying the most wholesale inventory value, for a given brand.
- Fulfiller Sell-Through: sell-through performance by retailer, including which sales rep(s) are associated with each one.
Filtering Your Reports
- Sellers can filter Sell-Through, Fulfillment, Ambassadors, and Products reports by Brand, Sales Representative, or Fulfiller.
- Sales Reps can filter their Sell-Through view by Retailer; some reports (like Local Demand By Brand) require a specific retailer to be selected to show results.
- Fulfillers can filter their Sell-Through reports by Brand, useful if they carry B2B storefronts from more than one brand.
Note: You may still see “B2B” used as a label in a few older places — all of these dashboards were renamed to “Sell-Through.”
Scheduling & Emailing Reports
Rather than logging into the panel every time, you can have any Sell-Through report (or any other report) run on a schedule and emailed directly to yourself, a specific teammate, or a sales rep.
To run a report on demand:
- Go to Reports > Run Reports in the left menu.
- Search for or scroll to the report you want (for example, a Sell-Through report like Missed Opportunity Insights or Fulfiller Market Share).
- Click the play button next to it, set any filters, and choose to email it to yourself if you don’t want to just view it in the panel.
To schedule a report to send automatically:
- Go to Reports > Report Schedules and click “Create” in the top right.
- Choose the Dashboard and specific Report you want to schedule.
- Set a Schedule Frequency — if Weekly or Monthly, you’ll also choose the specific day it goes out.
- Choose a Schedule Recipient: yourself, a specific email address, or a role (Admin, Basic, Sales Representative, or View Only) — this is how you can get a report routed straight to your sales reps’ inboxes.
- Set the date range for the report (or select “Start Date to Present”) and adjust any filters, which vary depending on the report chosen.
Note: A scheduled report can only be sent to one specific email address at a time — scheduling to a role, though, will reach everyone with that role.
Once scheduled, you can run the report immediately with the play button, edit its filters and settings, or delete it at any time from Report Schedules.
Consumer-Driven B2B: Ship-to-Store
B2B also shows up in a more automated form through Ship-to-Store (STS) orders. When a consumer places an STS order, Quivers automatically places a wholesale/B2B order on the fulfiller’s behalf to the brand — so the dealer doesn’t have to manually reorder to fulfill that consumer demand.
Note: Ship-to-Store is a storefront-level configuration. For full setup instructions, see the Quivers Ship-to-Store App article, or contact support@quivers.com.
Troubleshooting
If your B2B storefront isn’t working as expected, work through the checks below in order.
1. Dealer Can’t See Their B2B Storefront
- Confirm the retailer shows as “Connected” (not “Pending”) under Fulfillers.
- Check that your B2B storefront has been added under that retailer’s “B2B Storefronts” section (Step 7).
- If the dealer should see multiple storefronts (e.g., different dealer tiers), confirm each storefront was added individually to their connection.
2. Products Show as Out of Stock in the B2B Storefront
- Confirm a warehouse is assigned to the storefront under Sales Channels > Storefronts > Warehouses (Step 1 & 2).
- Check that stock levels in that warehouse are above the Minimum Stock Amount threshold (Step 3).
- If you separate wholesale and consumer inventory, confirm the correct warehouse has “Is Wholesale Source” toggled on (Step 2).
3. Dealer Is Seeing the Wrong Price
- Confirm the correct wholesale Price Type is assigned to the storefront the dealer is using (Step 4).
- If you run multiple dealer tiers, confirm the dealer is connected to the storefront tied to their correct tier, not a different one.
4. Checkout or Payment Isn’t Working for a Dealer Order
- Confirm the storefront’s Settlement Account is set to “B2B Billing” (Step 1).
- Confirm B2B Billing has been activated for your account by your Quivers CSM — it won’t appear as a Settlement Account option until it’s enabled.
- Confirm “Enable Tax Exemption” is set correctly for the storefront, if applicable to your setup.
5. Shipping Costs Aren’t Calculating Correctly
- Confirm a shipping policy is attached to the B2B storefront (Step 5).
- Confirm the dealer’s region is included in that policy’s “Regions” list.
- Confirm the products being ordered are included under the policy’s “Items” selection.
6. A Retailer Is Fulfilling Orders That Should Stay With Your Brand
- Check the claiming policy covering those products and confirm the Policy Type is set to “Merchant Exclusive,” not “Fulfiller Available” (Step 6).
- If the policy should only apply to your B2B storefront, confirm “Restrict by Storefronts” is enabled and correctly scoped (Step 6).
7. Ship-to-Store Orders Aren’t Generating Automatic B2B Orders
- Confirm STS is enabled at the storefront level — this is a separate configuration from standard B2B setup.
- Contact support@quivers.com to confirm STS is turned on for your storefront.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I assign more than one B2B storefront to the same retailer?
Yes. You can assign multiple wholesale storefronts to a single retailer connection — for example, if you want to offer that retailer more than one pricing tier or product line.
Can different retailers see different storefronts?
Yes. Each retailer connection has its own B2B storefront list, so you can assign any combination of your storefronts to each retailer independently.
Does a retailer need to do anything to see a storefront I’ve added to their connection?
No. Once you add a storefront to a retailer’s connection, they’ll see it automatically the next time they place a B2B order — no action required on their end.
What happens to my existing wholesale storefront if I’m already using B2B?
Your existing wholesale storefront is automatically carried over — it will appear as the first entry in the B2B Storefronts list on each of your retailer connections. No action is needed.
Can I offer tiered wholesale pricing to different dealer groups?
Yes. Create a separate storefront and Price Type for each dealer tier (for example, “Key” vs. “Authorized” dealers), then connect each dealer to the storefront that matches their tier.
Is Ship-to-Store the same thing as a B2B storefront?
No. Ship-to-Store (STS) is a related but separate, storefront-level configuration that automatically places a B2B order when a consumer order is routed to a fulfiller. It’s not required for standard dealer reordering, and needs to be enabled separately — contact support@quivers.com to set it up.
What’s the difference between B2B Billing and Bill Later?
The original “Bill Later” option isn’t compatible with Quivers settlements or transaction fees. B2B Billing is a newer payment method that supports both, making it the recommended option for B2B invoicing going forward.
Can any buyer use B2B Billing?
B2B Billing can be configured to appear only for specific buyer segments or storefronts. Contact your Quivers CSM for configuration options.
Does B2B Billing affect my settlement timeline?
No. Orders placed with B2B Billing follow the same settlement schedule as other Quivers Pay order types.
