New Marketplaces can be installed on any site by inserting the HoverCart Javascript and adding the domain to the Marketplace's whitelist.
HoverCart Code
- First, locate the HoverCart's insertion code within your Quivers panel by navigating to "Storefronts" (this is found under the "Sales Channels" navigation item in the left-hand menu)
- Click the grey pencil icon to the right very right in the row of the Storefront you wish to apply to your website.
- Then, click "HoverCart" in the top navigation; this will open your HoverCart settings:
- Click the blue “ Copy" button to copy your HoverCart's insertion code for placement on your site
- Numerous install types can be set up with this code; installation instructions for both Store Embedded and Add to Cart Embedded installations can be found on the Quivers Developer Portal
Domains
Domains must be whitelisted for a HoverCart to be installed. Domain whitelisting supports wildcards (*) and IP addresses and can be used with a specific subdomain.
To add the domains to your HoverCart instance, simply click the blue "+ Add" button next to "Domains," as seen in the screenshot above.
We recommend adding your domain without a subdomain and with a wildcard to ensure consumers can access your site both with and without a www in their URL. The following are all valid examples of whitelisted domains:
- store.yourdomain.com
- www.yourdomain.com
- yourdomain.com
- *.yourdomain.com
*Note: a wildcard will allow your HoverCart to be shown on any subdomain for your server; you may want to use specific URLs for private marketplaces.
Additional Settings on this page:
- Enable Order Item Stacking: If enabled, items that are purchased with a quantity greater than one will be grouped as a single item with X quantity for order management. Otherwise, the item will be split into separate line items, each with a quantity of 1.
- Enable Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a website traffic analysis application that provides real-time statistics and analysis of user interaction with the website. Google Analytics enables website owners to analyze their visitors to interpret and optimize the website's performance.
