Product Reviews for HoverCart

The Product Reviews feature allows customers to share feedback on your products while giving you full control over which reviews are displayed on your storefront.

Enabling Product Reviews

To enable reviews for a specific product:

  1. Go to Catalog > Products in your Quivers panel.

  2. Double-click the desired product to open its Product Details page.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Product Reviews section.

  4. Toggle Allow Reviews ON to enable customer reviews for that product.

You can either enable reviews manually, one product at a time, or in bulk using the Catalog Import Tool. When importing, set the Allow Customer Reviews column to TRUE to activate reviews for multiple products at once.

Managing Incoming Reviews

Once a product has reviews enabled, you’ll be notified whenever a new customer review is submitted.

You can manage and approve reviews directly on the same Product Details page where reviews are enabled:

  1. Go to Catalog > Products.

  2. Double-click the product to open its Product Details page.

  3. Scroll to the Product Reviews section at the bottom.

  4. Use the Approval Toggle next to each review to decide whether it should be displayed on your site.

  5. You can toggle OFF at any time to remove a review from public view.

Note: While you can delete reviews, we recommend keeping them for historical reference. Instead, simply toggle off approval if you no longer wish to display a review.

Viewing the Product Reviews Report

You can view all submitted reviews through the Product Reviews Report.

To access it:

  1. Go to Reports > Run Reports > Product Reviews.

  2. Use the filter options to set your desired date range.

This report will display:

  • The product that was reviewed

  • The customer information

  • The rating and comment

  • Whether the review has been approved to display on your site

This detailed view helps you track customer feedback over time and monitor which reviews are visible on your site.

Customer Interaction with Reviews

Customers can interact with posted reviews by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down icons to indicate how helpful they found the review.

They cannot comment or reply to other reviews directly, ensuring the feedback remains simple and focused.
