Import Template Guide

This support article will walk you through the different fields on the CSV file that you can use to import your product data into our Catalog Import Tool. For more information on actually importing, click HERE.

You can use the following template to format your product data HERE. Any field below with an * is a required field in order to import. NOTE: For SKU, UPC, & GTIN - at least one is required, you do not have to provide all.

  • Product.Name*
    • This field indicates the name of the product. It will also group all skus with the same Product.Name under that product.
  • Product.RefId
    • This field is a unique identifying value that belongs to a Product.
  • Variant.Name*
    • This field indicates the name of a variant, which belongs to a product.
  • Variant.Refid
    • This field is a unique identifying value that belongs to a Product variant.
  • FullDescription
    • The full descriptive text of a product or variant. HTML is valid within this field.
  • ShortDescription
    • The short (1 sentence) descriptive text of a product or variant. HTML is valid within this field.
  • Categories*
    • Similar to a Directory Path, this represents where the product will live in your catalog. Think of folders that these products will live under or how products are currently categorized on your website.
  • SKU*
    • This field represents the SKU of a Variant.
  • UPC*
    • This field represents the UPC of a Variant.
  • Gtin*
    • This field represents the Gtin of a Variant.
  • Height
    • This field is how tall the variant is in inches (in).
  • Width
    • This field is how wide the variant is in inches (in).
  • Length
    • This field is how long the variant is in inches (in).
  • Weight
    • This field is how much the variant weighs in pounds (lbs).
  • BuyButton*
    • This field determines if the product or variant will be purchasable. This can be changed at any time with the product in Quivers.
      • TRUE - Purchasable
      • FALSE - Not Purchasable
  • LineItemStacking*
    • This field determines if this item, when purchased, will come through as separate line items with a quantity of 1, or one line item with a quantity of X. This can be changed at any time with the product in Quivers.
      • TRUE - Stacks items
      • FALSE - Doesn't stack items
  • AllowUserReviews
    • This field determines if a consumer will be allowed to leave for the relevant product. This can be changed at any time with the product in Quivers.
  • Product.Pictures
    • Should be less than 1 mb
    • This field determines the pictures that will be attached to a product. The import tool only accepts absolute image URLs. All other files can be uploaded manually to the Admin Panel after the initial import.
    • This is not a required field but it is recommended, especially if you're using Quivers email notifications to customers.
  • Variant.Pictures
    • Should be less than 1 mb
    • This field determines the pictures that will be attached to a product's variants. The import tool only accepts absolute image URLs. All other files can be uploaded manually to the Admin Panel after the initial import.
  • Option_{Example}
    • If matched to this, the product will contain an Option of the matched header's name, and the variant will have the contents of this field as valid values for that option.
    • For example, you can utilize this for Option_Size, Option_Color, etc. You can add as many columns like this as needed.
    • This is not a required field however it is highly recommended that you utilize it to differentiate products.
  • Standard(USD)*
    • This field represents what the price of a variant will be for the Standard(USD) price type. If there are multiple price types or currencies, each type or currency will have its own column.
  • SpecialPrice-Standard(USD)
    • This field represents what the On Sale price of a variant will be for the Standard(USD) price type. If there are multiple price types, each type will have its own "SpecialPrice" column.
